Miss Singapore Universe seen in 'national costume'

Miss Singapore Universe 2011 Valerie Lim was pre-taped wearing what was described as her national costume onstage at Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo, in a photo released by Reuters on Wednesday.
The 1.79m-tall behavioural therapist is currently in Brazil preparing for the Miss Universe finals, which will air on Channel 5 at 9am on Sept 13.
Ms Lim, a National University of Singapore graduate, was crowned Miss Singapore Universe in July.
She followed in the footsteps of her mother, Ginny Lim, who was a Miss Singapore Universe finalist 30 years ago.
