STOMPer Ilovewaffles came across an online video that shows the actual crash involving a Ferrari and a taxi at Rochor Road, and was shocked at how loud the sound of the collision was.

The video shows just how fast the Ferrari was travelling at, and the sound highlights the impact during the collision.

Said the STOMPer:

"I found this video on facebook from a friend of mine.

"It's the actual video from the taxi behind.

"Just hear the loudness of the collision!

"My god!"

Ferrari crash: Physics teacher calculates that sports car was speeding at 140km/h
STOMPer Little Food Steps found this calculation of the speed of the Ferrari involved in the fatal Rochor Road accident made by a Physics teacher. The conclusion is that it was speeding at about 140kmh when it crashed into the taxi.

The accident occurred when a Ferrari collided into a taxi last Saturday (May 12) at the junction of Rochor Road and Victoria Street. There have been three casualties so far -- the Ferrari driver, the taxi driver and his female passenger.

Said the STOMPer:

"I saw this on a blog at http://weelookang.blogspot.com/2012/05/what-evidence-of-speed-ferrari-was.html.

"The author did some simulations that indicated the Ferrari was possibly travelling at 140±30km/h at the point of impact.

"It seems pretty accurate, given that they managed to account for the depth perception effects and estimated the distances based on the width of the taxi, which is in roughly the same plane as the Ferrari at the point of impact.

"No offense intended to any of the victims, but I thought this may be of interest to Stompers who wish to estimate how fast the Ferrari was travelling.
